Everyday we are probably subjected to fungi that could potentially grow into a fungal infection, some people are unable to fight the invading fungus. Fungal infections frequently occurs in moist, warm areas of the body and include black nail fungus, Athlete's Foot a fungal growth between the toes, Jock Rash skin rash in the groin area, mouth, scalp or vaginal infections.

Many of the medications used to treat fungal infections require a prescription, but there are three that can be bought over the counter (OTC). The three OTC antifungals are tolnaftate (Tinactin), clotrimazole (Lotrimin), and miconazole (Micatin). Creams or ointments used to treat should be applied twice a day for at least 2 weeks. Application of antifungals could be stopped after the rash or itch has been gone for one week. Ointments should be applied to the rash at least two finger widths beyond the rash. Another good quality ointment is Herbal Medi Care Anti-G ointment, it is made from only pure natural ingredients with no chemical based fungicides or similar dangerous chemicals. Anti G ointment will be able to help treat any topical infection and prevent it from spreading.

Consult your physician if rashes don’t stop or is recurrent.

Common Infections

BACKGROUND

Your body comes into contact with many infections, and most often can eliminate them without antibiotics. Though for severe pneumonias and some other infections it is a very good idea to add the antibiotics, for many milder infections, and especially for viral infections, the antibiotics may simply be counterproductive.

PREVENTION

To optimize your body's own defense systems:

General Diet Advice

Keep your nutrition solid

Keep your nutrition solid. Do this by avoiding excess sugars, eating whole foods, and getting a multivitamin in the form of a good multi-nutrient powder (see Energy Revitalization System).

Other Therapies & Advice

Sleep

Get your 8 hours of sleep a night.

Yeast infections

Check for chronic sinusitis or spastic colon/irritable bowel syndrome. If present, treat their underlying cause, which is often yeast/candida. Eliminating the yeast will take a major strain off your immune system.

TREATMENT

Recommended Supplements

Thymic protein

To treat an acute infection, take thymic protein — This natural thymic hormone mimic stimulates your immune system wonderfully. I recommend it be in everyone's medicine cabinet. Pour a packet of the powder under your tongue 3 times a day at the first sign of any infection, and let it absorb under your tongue. Take it till the infection resolves. You'll be impressed and even your kids will love it.

Specific Infections

Check for specific infections of the following:

  • Bladder infections
  • Cold, sore throat, flu
  • Cystitus
  • Prostatitis
  • Sinusitus
  • Candida (yeast infections)
