No, taking methadone and Nyquil is a bad combination and can lead to dangerous results. From personal experience, I ended up taking the two together and ended up going to bed. The next morning was my first day of school and my dad tried to wake me up. I was rushed to the hospital, I had vomited in my lungs, and was in a coma for three days with a very slim chance of living. Massive brain trauma and a disease in my lungs that almost killed me. The doctors call it a miracle that I'm still breathing today. Although I'm not sure if it will do any harm in different doses or taking at different parts of the day. Overall I think taking methadone with any kind of acoholic based liquid is dangerous.


Second Answer: I'm answering this question as well in my own experience and has nothing to do with the above. I take Methadone on a daily basis and I would suggest to not take the NyQuil close together with the Methadone. At least 4 or more hours apart. I took some la...
