I am a boy at 15 years old and I`ve smoked 2 cigarettes. One day I come home and couldn`t get erection. I`m very very very scared that it will stay. Will it pass and be over if I stop smoking or will it stay for life?

I have been dating a 33 year old, otherwise healthy, man for the past 4 months and in the beginning of the relationship we had a wonderful and fufilling sexual realtionship. We had relations several times a week. He maintained an erection for a good amount of time and also ejaculated everytime. Now it seems that he cant get or maintain an erection. He says this is normal and that its something I have to get used too. He claims it is ED~ my question is this, if he has ED is it normal not to "kick in" until the relationship settles and the "newness" wears off. Is there something I can do to help with this situation, (other than what I have already tried) or should I accept this and get used to the idea of not having sex on any kind of regular basis. We have had sex 4 times in 5 weeks and I just dont think for his age and our relationship that this is normal. Should he been seen for this by a doctor?

For several years I have problems with my erection. Both getting one and maintaining it. The problem is with the outer part of my penis (outside of my body). The inner part up to about half an inch outside my body, functions normally, meaning that when I`m aroused it gets very hard (like a stone or a bone), and it stays hard for as long as I`m aroused (up to an hour or even two!). In the meantime, the outer part of my penis remains completely flacid, or it gets hard for just a few minutes. When it gets hard, I can`t feel (with my fingers) the spot of difference between these two parts. Two weeks ago I visited my doctor, but she laughed at me when I told her in our discussion that I believe to have a physical problem. Then she suggested that I see a psychiatrist, because it has to be (in her opinion), a psychological problem. What is your opinion: do I have a physical problem, or should I seek "a shrink"? By the way, I don`t see myself being depressed.

Hello! I`m 36 years old, in pretty good health, and for several years I have problems with my erection. I can achieve erection, but with difficulty and for just a few minutes (unless I`m keeping myself very close to ejaculating). For a long time I thought that my problem is psychological. But recently I became aware of an interesting fact: I have such a problem only with the outer part of my penis. The part that is inside of my body, and even about an inch outside of my body, is functioning normally, meaning that it gets very hard when I`m sexually aroused (rock hard or bone hard, literally!) and it can stay like that for half an hour or even up to couple of hours (for as long as I`m focused on the object of my arousal). I went to see my doctor about this problem, but she just laughed and disregarded it as an psychological problem. She said that as long as I can get an erection, there is nothing wrong with me, and suggested that I visit an psychiatrist. Is she right? Could this state be normal (half of my penis being fully erect, and half of it completely limp), or do I have some physical problem?

My penis has shrunk over the past few years, from 7.5" inches when erect to about 4". I have type 2 diabeties and am on medication for this. Also a few years ago I had angioplasty with stents done twice and also on medication for that. What could possibly cause my penis to shrink so much? I have no problem getting an erection. I have spoken to my doctor about this and he told me as you age your penis shrinks, but I am only 63 years old it should not have shrunk this much.

Also noticed I will have overwhelming desire for sex, but then no erection or erection goes away after trying to orgasm for so long, I give up. Was with a woman Sunday night and went for 2 hours erect and hard, but could not orgasm or ejaculate. Then another woman Wednesday night and no erection at all alon with no intercourse at all., but ohhh I had the desire too. What to do??

Yes, I am 47yrs old and had a vasectomy after my second child for birth control. Since then, seems like my sensitivity and arousal to my spouses` touch wheather oral on the penis or caressing me is no where the same intensity as before the vasectomy. My vesect was when I was 28yrs old. I am taking Effexor and wellbutrin. Where has the power of arousal and sensitivity gone?

I have a friend who has used Viagra and Cialis, but the end result was a lifeless penis. What can be done to help this person out. My other question is, when he takes Viagra or Cialis, does the presence of a woman help it to work, or is it just useless?

I seem to have difficulty acheiving orgasm. I am pretty easily stimulated and aroused, and I definitely am interested. I can stay hard for an hour easily, but only rarely have a climax. I have tried masterbation, with visual stimulation, and even then it takes 30- 45 minutes, when it does happen. I am 60 years old, just slightly overweight (230 lbs at 6`4") and have always had a healthy sex life. I am talking drugs for cholestrol, and acid reflux could that be the cause ??

My penis, especially during the past four months, has been extremely sensitive at the head. It is red and swollen, and it has definetly effected my sex life. I do not even want to have sex because it gets so sensitive it does not feel good unless I have it exactly right. I have always had a problem ejaculating as well. It takes me awhile (whether it`s during sex, oral sex) If I masturbate I can do it exactly how it will get me off, but still takes awhile. Also, if it is during intercourse, I have to be on top or else I will lose my erection. I have to do it at a certain speed and this also can be VERY unenjoyable for my partner. I have been tested for all STD`s, and as for HPV, my girlfriend has been tested also, and we both have a clean bill of health. What could this problem be? I like sex and want to have it, but I am not sure why it is so sensitive/unenjoyable. Thank you
